MFM Limited Partnership is looking for an individual to join our team as a Labourer/Wash Bay Attendant in Fort McMurray, AB.
Purpose & Key Accountabilities
Provide general hands-on support to town shop from different site locations along with duties as directed by the assigned Supervisor.
Duties & Responsibilities
Perform daily inspection and use of 4 post hoist.
Steam cleaning of vehicle undercarriage.
Washing exterior of vehicles and equipment.
Clean interiors of vehicles.
Ensure the wash bay is kept clean after each use.
Report any equipment defects or maintenance issues to supervisor.
Assist labourers and/or mechanics when needed.
Ensure adherence to MGoC workplace policies and operating procedures.
Understand and adhere to MFM LP Safety Management System, policies, procedures, and values
Perform work and operate all equipment in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, company and site policies/procedures
Provide manual labour services
Industrial setting, working under permit experience preferred
Work well with others in a team atmosphere
Able to accept change in priorities in a fast-paced environment
Other duties as required by supervisor/manager
Working Conditions
The working environment is a shop yard. Working outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
Schedule: 4 days on, 3 days off, working 10 hours per day shift rotation
Work Location: Mainly based at the MFM Fleet facility in Fort McMurray.
Overtime Eligibility: Some overtime may be required on occasion.
Requirements:
Familiar with the use of tools, pressure washing equipment, and techniques required to perform manual tasks.
Previous experience as a laborer or wash bay attendant is considered an asset.
Maintain a high quality of work standard.
Dependable, punctual and have the ability to meet deadlines.
WHIMS
CSA approved steel toe work boots (6” minimum)
Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver’s License is mandatory
Clean Driver's Abstract is mandatory
Able to successfully obtain clearance of Pre-access Alcohol & Drug Screening test
