AIM is currently seeking a Temporary Non‑Ferrous Receiver Laborer (6‑month contract) for its Montréal‑East site. The position is offered on a schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Under the supervision of the Supervisor, the incumbent will be responsible for receiving and sorting non‑ferrous materials, as well as verifying their compliance. The employee will contribute to the site’s daily operations and perform various material handling tasks, in addition to carrying out any other related duties.
What you’re responsible for :
• Sort various types of non‑ferrous metals;
• Classify non‑ferrous materials and identify material types;
• Weigh materials;
• Operate a forklift;
• Perform daily maintenance;
• Carry out general site maintenance;
• Maintain equipment and assets in good condition;
• Clean work area at the end of each shift;
• Enter data into the RECY system;
• Provide pricing to customers;
• Deliver excellent customer service;
• Assist with torch cutting when required;
• Prepare shipments and receive materials;
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
