AIM is currently seeking a Ferrous Receiver for its Trois‑Rivières site, for a work schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Reporting to the Site Director, the Ferrous Receiver actively participates in the receiving, sorting, and shipping of ferrous metals.
What you'll be responsible for: 
• Welcoming customers courteously and applying established procedures
• Unloading, sorting, and inspecting ferrous metals received on site
• Identifying the different types of metals and assessing their quality
• Operating, as required, industrial machinery and tools such as loaders, forklifts, torches, etc.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards at all times
• Maintaining order and cleanliness of the work site
• Performing all other related tasks to support operations
To join our team:
• You have experience operating a forklift (an asset)
• You hold a valid Class 5 driver’s licence
• You have knowledge of the different types of metals, assets
• You are able to work in a dusty and industrial environment
• You are able to work outdoors, in both good and bad weather
• You are in excellent physical condition and have an aptitude for manual work
• You are committed to working safely at all times
• You are a responsible, resourceful, punctual, reliable individual and able to work as part of a team
