AIM is currently looking for a Non‑Ferrous Receiver – General Labourer for its Sherbrooke site. The position is offered on a schedule from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., as well as Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Under the supervision of the Supervisor, the incumbent will be responsible for receiving and sorting non‑ferrous materials, as well as verifying their compliance. They will contribute to the daily operations of the site and perform various material handling tasks, in addition to carrying out all other related duties.
What You Will Be Responsible For:
• Sorting different types of non‑ferrous metals;
• Classifying non‑ferrous materials and determining the type of material;
• Weighing materials;
• Operating a forklift;
• Performing daily maintenance;
• Performing general site maintenance;
• Keeping assets and equipment in good condition;
• Cleaning the work area at the end of the shift;
• Entering data into the RECY system;
• Providing prices to customers;
• Providing excellent customer service;
• Assisting with torch cutting as needed;
• Preparing shipments and receiving materials;
• Wearing personal protective equipment.
