Job Description

Surespan Ready Mix is seeking a General Labourer with a willingness to train and learn new tasks. Class 3 license preferred but not required. Start Date: as soon as possible

What You'll Be Doing

Working in the yard under the Yard Foreman, doing maintenance and general yard duties/clean up

Assist drivers with returned concrete

Assisting with plant maintenance

Pour, finish, and help strip concrete blocks

Training to operate a Ready Mix Truck and/or Front End Loader

Monthly inventory counts

What Are We Looking For

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Attention to detail and commitment to quality

Flexibility to work overtime as needed

Conditions of Employment

Valid Class 3 license preferred but not required, training provided to ideal candidates.

Labour experience preferred but not required, training provided.

Work Environment

Role operates primarily in environments where working conditions include moving equipment, inclement weather, and elevated noise level
