Laborer/Rigger

Qualifications:

A High School or GED diploma preferred.

Some experience in construction preferred. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Promotes, executes and adheres to the company’s safety program. 

Ensures that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed and brings problems or concerns to the attention of the supervisor or safety manager.

Performs a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in heavy projects; performs manual work in preparing surfaces for paving.

Maintains a clean job site: picks up all tools and equipment and secures job site each day to eliminate potential hazards.

Performs materials handling and storage.

Loads and unloads trucks and hauls and hoists materials.

Performs other construction duties or task as required based on company’s needs.
