Key Responsibilities

• Perform setup, preparation, and execution of medium, electrical, and functional tests according to defined specifications and instructions within allocated timelines;
• Validate test requirements and, when necessary, support clarification or adjustment of initial test scope with internal stakeholders;
• Plan and prioritize validation test activities based on available resources, ensuring appropriate test equipment is used for product validation;
• Evaluate test feasibility and propose new test equipment or improvements when required, considering budget and implementation timelines;
• Create, document, and evaluate test results, ensuring clear structure and compliance with reporting standards for easy interpretation of outcomes and deviations;
• Review technical reports prepared by peers and ensure accuracy and consistency of documentation;
• Investigate and report unidentified failures or anomalies, escalating complex issues to experienced engineers when needed;
• Develop test plans for new products or new test types based on failure mode understanding and previous experience, in collaboration with reliability and development engineers;
• Contribute to laboratory organization and documentation, ensuring a structured and compliant working environment;
• Define clear sub-tasks for technicians and ensure execution within planned timelines;
• Communicate deviations from customer requirements or technical issues to supervisors and propose corrective actions;
• Consolidate test results into structured reports to support evaluation, approval processes, and decision-making;
• Monitor progress of assigned tasks and proactively escalate risks related to timelines, quality, or budget constraints;
• Participate in continuous improvement of documentation, test specifications, and laboratory equipment;
• Ensure compliance with internal standards (e.g., 5S, workplace organization principles) and propose process optimizations;
• Collaborate actively with cross-functional teams and support external partner evaluation when testing activities are outsourced.

• University degree in a technical field;
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in engineering, testing, or quality;
• Knowledge of testing methods, quality processes, and industry standards (automotive experience is an advantage);
• Ability to perform technical analysis of electronic systems, products, and test results;
• Ability to work in cross-functional and international teams;
• Strong problem-solving skills within own technical area;
• Attention to detail and focus on process and product improvement;
• Experience with MS Office and SAP;
• Understanding of quality requirements, standards, and applicable procedures;
• Advanced English; German is a plus.
