Laboratory Technician

We are currently offering an exciting opportunity at Eurofins-PHAST, a subsidiary of Professional Scientific Services (PSS) Switzerland. This job is located at our client’s site at Schaffhausen.

For our client’s international team in Schaffhausen, we are looking for a Laboratory Technician (all genders). In this exciting and versatile position, your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

• Planning, execution, documentation, and review of analytical tasks (incl. stability and release test) for the development, validation and transfer of physical test methods for particle counting and CCIT (PCCI) assays according to GMP/GLP guidelines
• Providing analytical support for QC laboratories for particle counting and CCI testing
• Summarize analytical results in reports
• Developing and maintaining document templates for method development, qualification, validation and transfer
• Compile data for registration dossier
• Working in a dynamic team-oriented environment and respecting diversity and inclusion when interacting with colleagues and partners

• Apprenticeship as a Laboratory Technician (EFZ) Biology/Chemistry or Bachelor (B.Sc.) in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or Chemistry
• Experience within the pharmaceutical or GMP-regulated industry preferred and knowledge of relevant GMP regulations for analytical laboratories
• Experienced in particle counting and CCIT assays is advantageous
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken), German desired
