SGS’s Food industry services help ensure food safety, quality, and compliance through testing, inspection, certification, and auditing—supporting businesses across the supply chain from farm to fork.

• Job Title: Laboratory Technician 
• Job Type: Permanent 
• Location: Cramlington 
• Hours: Monday to Friday 4pm to 12am & Tuesday to Saturday 2pm to 12am 
• Salary: £24,785 pa

We are currently seeking 2 Laboratory Technicians to join our food testing and analytical services team. As a Food Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for: 

• Conducting Food tests and analysis
• Ensuring the safety and compliance of food products
• Working towards quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

As a Laboratory Technician you will demonstrate the following attributes.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Positive and proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow procedures and processes accurately.
• Effective interpersonal skills, including communication and active listening.
• Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Windows,
