The successful candidate will work as part of a team to provide small molecule biomarker clinical testing using LC/MS/MS assay methods and instrumentation in support of Genzyme clinical trials. The primary responsibility in this position is routine laboratory testing and analysis of patient samples using established standard operating procedures, tabulating results, and helping with the preparation of patient data reports using a LIMS.
Other responsibilities include assisting with general lab support duties, reagent preparation, light instrument maintenance, and quality assurance and quality control activities in the laboratory.
The candidate will work in a dynamic, fast-paced, CLIA and GLP compliant laboratory which will require the capability of working under minimal supervision, planning and prioritizing assignments to meet timelines while remaining organized.
Basic Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biotechnology or Medical Technology with 3+ year s direct experience using LC/MS/MS methods, software, and instruments in clinical chemistry or regulated bioanalysis applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
Hands on experience with Waters LC/MS/MS or Sciex LC/MSMS systems, and software of Masslynx and Analyst for mass spectrometry quantitation are highly desirable
