Laboratory Technician - Environment Testing - 2nd Shift

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
• Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
• Regular attendance and punctuality
• Demonstrate skill in using the computer to access information, perform calculations and prepare reports
• Review, evaluate, calculate, enter, upload and verify data as required
• Document data following SOPs
• Perform quantitative transfer and dilutions
• Read and understand the principles of instruments used for assigned work
• Perform effective written and oral communication with coworkers
• Evaluate current analytical system performance and suggest/implement improvements to maximize quality and productivity
• Assist with updating SOPs as needed to ensure compliance
• Perform IDL, IEC, linear range, and MDL determinations
• Keep individual training records updated
• Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
• Performs other duties as assigned

Role is on 2nd shift, 3pm - 11:30pm M-F.  Training will on first shift, 7am-330pm M-F. 

Basic Minimum Qualifications: 

• High School Diploma or equivalent 
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. consistently and stand or walk for an 8 hour shift 
• Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship 

Ideal Candidates will have: 

• Previous lab experience 
• Some familiarity with basic statistics and chemical math
• Problem solving skills
• Organizational skills
• Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing
• Willingness and ability to learn new methods and techniques
• Self-motivation 
• A positive attitude toward quality control and safety procedures
• Versatility, efficiency, and flexibility; personal maturity and sense of responsibility
• Willingness to follow instructions and comply with company policies

Pay rate: $17.75 + 10% shift differential 

Please note - Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) provides a compensation range for informational purposes, the actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience and skill set, base salary of internal peers, business sector, and geographic location.
