Job Description

At Cariflex, we specialize in developing, manufacturing and markets specialty polymers and its latex that bring remarkable value and improve lives worldwide. We are on the lookout for a Chemistry Laboratory Technician to support and collaborate with Scientists and and researchers to support ongoing projects. He / She is precise, compliant to given instructions and able to adhere to safety protocols.

• Perform laboratory tests to produce reliable and precise data for scientific investigations.

• Prepare laboratory samples/specimens for testing and conduct prescribed experiments accurately.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Maintain accurate records of experiments, observations, and results.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety procedures and regulatory guidelines.
• Assist in the development of new testing methods and protocols.
• Order and maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and chemicals.
• Collaborate with scientists and researchers to support ongoing studies.

Requirements:
• SPM/STPM Science Stream or Diploma in Science preferably Chemistry
• Ability to speak Bahasa Malaysia and English
• Meticulous, discipline and observant
