Salary: $30.75 – $46.15/hour (based on years of experience)
Shift: Full-Time | Nights | Rotating Weekends (every other weekend)
Sign-On Bonus: Available (case-by-case)
Relocation Assistance: Available (case-by-case)
Differentials: Nights: $3.50/hour | Weekends: $6.00/hour
Are you a seasoned L&D RN ready for a leadership role? This is your opportunity to take the next step in a high-impact, overnight position within a busy Women's Services department in the Dickson, TN area. The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) will provide hands-on clinical leadership during the night shift, overseeing L&D unit operations, staffing, and quality of care.
• Serve as the lead RN and point-of-contact for the overnight L&D team
• Manage patient admissions, discharges, and throughput
• Assist in deliveries and scrub in for C-sections and OB-related OR cases
• Provide direct patient care and support evidence-based clinical decision-making
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation for the shift
• Serve as a clinical liaison between nursing staff, OB providers, and ancillary departments
• Ensure safety and quality standards are met across labor, delivery, and postpartum transitions
• Act as a mentor and resource to newer staff and nursing assistants
• Participate in unit-based improvement initiatives and service recovery
• Current RN license in Tennessee (or compact state)
• Associate Degree in Nursing required (BSN preferred)
• BLS within 30 days of hire; ACLS within 1 year of hire
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience
• Prior leadership experience in Women’s Services, L&D, NICU, or Mother-Baby required
• Must be comfortable acting as charge nurse, assisting in staffing coverage, and responding to emergencies overnight
Preferred:
• Scrub and circulating experience for OB surgical cases
• Strong clinical leadership in a fast-paced L&D unit
• High reliability, autonomous decision-making, and team-based attitude
