Job Description

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts | Rotating weekends (every other weekend)

Compensation & Incentives

• Pay Range: $30.75 – $46.15/hour (based on experience)

• Shift Differentials: Nights +$3.50/hr | Weekends +$6.00/hr

• Sign-On Bonus & Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case basis

A well-established regional medical center is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to join our Labor & Delivery unit. This hybrid Charge/Assistant Nurse Manager role is designed for experienced L&D RNs who want to expand their leadership skills. As the overnight resource for a committed team, you will balance direct patient care with leadership responsibilities in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide charge-level leadership and support overnight nursing operations

• Deliver patient-centered care to laboring mothers and newborns

• Scrub in and assist with OB surgical cases and deliveries as needed

• Coordinate admissions, discharges, and patient throughput

• Support scheduling, clinical workflows, and inventory management

• Guide staff performance, policy compliance, and professional development

• Participate in service recovery and team engagement initiatives

• Licensure: Current RN license (Tennessee or compact state)

• Education: ADN required; BSN preferred

• Certifications:

• BLS within 30 days of hire

• ACLS within 12 months of hire

• Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience

• Prior leadership experience (L&D, NICU, Women’s Services, or Mother-Baby) required

• Must be confident performing deliveries and assisting in OR cases overnight
