Our Client is a manufacturer of electronic inter connectors. It sells over 100,000 products, including everything from electrical and fibre optic interconnects solutions, to switches and application tooling. It supplies a variety of industries, including the telecom, data com, computer and peripheral, automotive, premise wiring, industrial, consumer, medical and military markets.
Job Description:
Primary Purpose:
Provide global operation support in the areas of labeling management activities which include analyse the labeling technical spec, work closely with the respective stakeholder, and prepare the final labeling requirement for Labeling Design team for labeling design.
The individual will also require supporting others logistics related project as and when required.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. To be the single contact point to review the labelling request from Global Molex entity and Supply Chain Hub. The labelling type consisted of Production Label, Shipping Label and Specific Customer label.
2. Analyse and understand the customer labelling spec, ensure the specific label requirement information pass to the labelling design team for labelling design.
3. Ensure all the labelling request reviewed and replied timely to the requestor. Work closely with the requestor, it can be Customer Services, Sales Team, Engineering etc.
4. Maintain the Global Labelling database.
5. Prepare and publish weekly or monthly report related to the labelling activity
6. Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Skills & Abilities:
• PC Skills: All Microsoft applications with sound knowledge of Excel, Access & Power Point
· Able to read the technical specification and interpret it into labelling requirement.
· Knowledge in Labelling (traceability, bar code, and others technology) will be advantage.
· Experience working in the share services environment will be advantage.
Skills Required:
1. Good communication skills - Both verbal and writing
2. Good inter personal skills that demonstrate ability to build rapport with internal teams and external contacts
3. Aptitude to learn products and applications through self-efforts.
Qualification: Diploma/ BE
Work Experience: Min 2-5 years in Logistics/Supply Chain & Mechanical Engineering.
