Sheboygan Paper Box Company is seeking a detail-oriented Label Technician to join our Finishing Department This role plays a critical part in ensuring labels, load tags, and outgoing product from the Finishing Department are accurate and meet quality standards before shipment.
This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys working independently, is comfortable with computer-based tasks, and takes pride in accuracy and consistency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Schedule:
Monday – Thursday | 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM
Consistent schedule with three-day weekends every week.
Key Responsibilities
Verify accuracy and quality of labels, load tags, and outgoing product from the Finishing Department.
Ensure all labeling and documentation meets job specifications before shipment.
Perform accurate computer data entry related to labeling and load verification.
Identify and resolve discrepancies by communicating with leads or supervisors as needed.
Multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Follow safety, quality, and department procedures at all times.
Work independently while supporting the Finishing team as needed.
Learn and perform all duties associated with the Label Technician role through on-the-job training.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Strong computer and data entry skills required.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong basic math skills.
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to learn new processes and responsibilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Commitment to safe work practices and quality standards.
Previous manufacturing or quality-related experience is highly preferred
