Position Summary
The Lab Technician is responsible for performing analytical testing related to hydration and fermentation processes. This includes timely sampling, accurate recording of chemical data, operation of laboratory instruments such as gas chromatographs, and proper management of laboratory materials. The role supports production by ensuring all analytical results are accurate, reliable, and delivered on time.
Main Responsibilities
Conduct chemical testing for the hydration process and ensure all data is accurate, authentic, and reliable.
Perform analytical testing for fermentation samples to verify data integrity.
Collect and analyze water and fermentation samples promptly; record all test results truthfully and completely.
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments, especially gas chromatography equipment.
Maintain accurate inventory and usage records for laboratory reagents, consumables, and glassware.
Ensure proper shift handover:
Abnormalities identified before handover are the responsibility of the outgoing shift.
Issues found after handover fall under the responsibility of the current shift.
Maintain cleanliness and 6S standards in the laboratory and surrounding area.
Complete other duties assigned by supervisors or workshop leadership.
Qualifications
College degree or above
Major in Chemical Analysis, Chemistry, Inspection, or related fields
Knowledge of chemical examination methods and analytical procedures
Ability to operate laboratory instruments, especially analytical testing equipment
Strong sense of safety, discipline, and attention to detail
Reliable, careful, and responsible in handling data and equipment
Training Requirements

Language Requirement
English Level: B1 (Intermediate Operational English)
Understands main points of common work-related topics in clear speech.
Understands general and specific details in operational instructions.
