Lab Assistant (On-Site) - 32 Hours/week

In 2021 we moved into a brand new ISO 17025 accredited laboratory in Madison, WI designed to conduct food chemistry testing specializing in infant formula, sole-source nutrition products, hemp and CBD, dietary supplements, and a variety of botanicals. Our testing portfolio includes vitamins, minerals, contaminants, pesticides and shelf-life studies.

We test of a variety of instrumentation including UPLC, HPLC, GC, and LCMS technologies. We offer an innovative and collaborative team environment, and the opportunity to develop expertise on a wide variety of analytical instruments! · Dispose of samples once complete

· Place pipettes in washer

· Put away clean glassware, pipettes

· Wash stoppers

· Maintains a clean and safe laboratory work environment

· Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner

· Performs other duties as assigned

- Demonstrates and promotes the company vision

· Regular attendance and punctuality

· Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate

-Schedule:  32 hours per week

-High School diploma or equivalent

-Ability to accurately read and record results into system

-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

-Relevant experience preferred

-Reside within commutable distance to Madison, WI lab.

• Expected to understand the process for handling hazardous wastes and receive on-the-job training for handling specific waste types in their job area
• Mandatory immunizations and screening as required
• Overtime and weekend work as required
• Will be exposed to potential food allergens.
