As a Lab Analyst working in pharmaceutical sciences, you will be responsible to perform analytical testing work, running existing methods and protocols focused on Solid-State Characterization Methods to cover the following activities:
• Solid state characterization in support of physical stability studies, API comparability, excipient compatibility, milling trials, spray-drying trials, batch overviews and design of experiments (drug substance & drug product).
 
• Characterization of samples according to clearly defined methods or protocols using:• X-Ray Diffraction (XRD)
• Infrared Spectroscopy (IR)
• Dynamic Vapor Sorption (DVS)
• Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA)
• Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC)
• Modulated DSC (MDSC)
 
• Characterization of spray-dried products using Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM).
 
• Setting up and managing physical stability open dish stress studies.
 
• Inform about potential technical/scientific challenges and risks, prioritization or resources conflicts.
 
• Reviewing, interpreting and reporting of the obtained analytical data.
With the team you handle requests of different scientists, and you ensure that applicable guidelines, established operating procedures and safety regulations adhering to company work standards are being followed.
• You hold master’s degree in a field of chemistry preferably analytical chemistry.
• A first experience with chromatographic and/or spectroscopic techniques such as HPLC, UPLC, GC, GC-Hs, and MS is nice to have.
• You work accurately, independently, and are stress resistant.
• You enjoy working in a team and are flexible.
• You have good social and communication skills.
• Fluent communication skills in English.
• A full-time (40hours/week) Monday – Friday job.
• A Permanent contract with flexible working hours. (Can start between 7:00 and 9:30am)
