Role Description

Amtech is hiring experienced Application Support Analysts to support our Encore ERP platform serving the corrugated and folding carton manufacturing industry. Encore issues can directly impact order processing, production scheduling, inventory accuracy, shipping, invoicing, and revenue recognition. Analysts must understand operational and financial impact and prioritize accordingly. This role supports customers globally across a follow-the-sun model and includes both on-prem and evolving SaaS environments.

Global Coverage & Collaboration Expectations

• Support customers across multiple time zones

• Handle new cases during U.S. off-hours

• Accept structured handoffs from U.S. support

• Provide detailed shift transitions

• Attend occasional U.S.-scheduled meetings

• Demonstrate schedule flexibility as business needs evolve

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own and resolve ERP cases end-to-end

• Prioritize based on operational and financial impact

• Troubleshoot order-to-cash, scheduling, inventory, logistics workflows

• Investigate configuration, services, and environment alignment

• Use SQL (primarily SELECT queries) for validation and root cause

• Support Microsoft SQL Server and Windows Server-hosted applications

• Review logs, services, integrations, and scheduled jobs

• Distinguish configuration issues from product defects

• Create knowledge base documentation

• Maintain ownership until resolution

Required Experience

• 2-4 years supporting enterprise software (L2/L3 preferred)

• Experience supporting ERP or MES in manufacturing

• Strong SQL skills (queries, joins, validation)

• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server

• Experience supporting Windows Server-hosted applications

• Familiarity with logs, services, integrations, schedulers

• Strong written English communication skills

• Willingness to work flexible hours

Preferred Experience

• Corrugated and/or folding carton manufacturing experience

• ERP/MES support in packaging environments

• Understanding of scheduling, inventory, shop floor execution

• SaaS ERP support experience

• Knowledge base creation experience

• Additional language skills

Formal Packaging Education (Strongly Preferred) We highly value candidates with formal education in Packaging Technology from:

• Indian Institute of Packaging (Mumbai or Bengaluru)

• SIES School of Packaging (Mumbai)

• ASC Centre & College (Bengaluru)

• Other recognized packaging programs in India Formal packaging education will be considered a significant advantage
