Natixis in Portugal is currently seeking a Team Manager to join its KYC (Know Your Customer) team, within the CSG (Client Support Group) department. 
This Center, located in Porto, is responsible for the KYC on boarding of new clients and periodic reviews of existing clients across EMEA, APAC and America, as well as all supporting activities related to the KYC activity (Quality & Control, data management, Tax and regulatory topics, among others).
In an evolving environment, you will need to make sure that your team delivers a level of service which is suitable for meeting regulatory requirements and company standards as well as internal and external customers’ needs.
Main Responsibilities
• Support the development and implementation of policies, processes and procedures, aligned with the defined strategy and ensure the implementation and execution of the processes for which the area is responsible, as well as ensure compliance with internal standards and procedures and with local and international legislation and standards.
• Manage an area of high importance for the company, being responsible for a team and a budget, with a high degree of autonomy, being responsible for the decision processes that concern the area and for aligning with the counterpart of the Business.
• Plan, develop, manage and control the activities, areas and/or functional domains under its management, in line with the budgets and objectives defined and reporting their developments periodically, in order to improve the performance of the area.
• Manage a team of qualified professionals working in a complex environment, managing heterogeneous profiles in terms of professional responsibilities, expertise, and scope of action, ensuring their development, growth and motivation.
• Attract, lead, guide, evaluate and develop employees, ensuring the planning and adequacy of the teams in terms of size, knowledge and skills, focusing on performance and operational efficiency.
• Develop and maintain relationships with various stakeholders, internal and external, institutionally representing Natixis as the main interlocutor in meetings, working groups, forums and conferences, if needed.
• Follow the main trends of the sector, the market and its area of operation, as well as internal and external developments, ensuring the transfer and retention of knowledge and information in a transversal way to Natixis.
• Liaise, when applicable, with external outsourcing companies regarding recruitment and is responsible for Contract & Vendor Management.
• Manage all the Talent Management Processes, such as the Annual Performance Review, Salary Review, Talent Review and Training.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Natixis Peers and Management Community.
Hard Skills
• 5-7 years of experience in a similar production position in the banking sector, ideally CIB, as well as a significant experience in team leadership, change management, project management or business management.
• Familiar with KYC, Sanctions & Embargoes, Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Regulations. 
• Proficiency in English (mandatory). 
• Proficiency in French (plus). 
Soft Skills
• Good interpersonal skills and proactive mindset, as well as a good negotiating capacity.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to manage a team balancing their production and the transformation agenda in an agile mode.
• Strong ability to engage into Transformation initiatives leading to change of organization, processes optimization and Tool automation in order to enhance the Employees, Partners and Customer journeys.
The position is based in Porto but some travel may be required to Lisbon and/or abroad.
