What you'll be doing

As a KYB Analyst Intern, you will join our FinCrime & Operations team based in Barcelona for a 6-month internship. You will play a key support role in enabling smooth onboarding for our business partners. This position is designed to give you hands-on exposure to the world of FinTech compliance, teaching you the fundamentals of Know Your Business (KYB) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) processes while supporting the team with operational tasks. Here's what your day-to-day will look like:

• Support Business Onboarding - You will review documentation (such as company extracts, bylaws, and ID documents) for new merchants to ensure they meet Satispay internal standards before activation.

• Manage Low-Risk Profile Reviews - You will be responsible for the Ongoing Due Diligence of merchants classified as Low Risk, ensuring their information is up-to-date and consistent over time.

• Merchant Assistance - Provide clear and timely support to businesses (primarily via email) to guide them through the verification process and request any missing information.

• Learn & Grow - Over the 6 months, you will learn how to analyze corporate structures, identify Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs), and understand the regulatory framework behind digital payments.

This is a fast-paced environment where you'll learn a lot! Expect to collaborate closely with the team, take initiative on your tasks, and bring your fresh ideas to the table. Be ready to adapt and grow with us.

Who we're looking for

• Education - You are completing or have recently completed a degree in Law, Economics, Political Science, or related fields.

• Analytical Mindset - You have a keen eye for detail. You enjoy digging into documents and ensuring everything adds up.

• Language Skills - You have professional fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Italian is a strong asset.

• Proactive Attitude - You are organized, eager to learn, and not afraid to ask questions when something isn't clear.

• Tech-Savvy - You are comfortable using digital tools and learning new software quickly.
