The Talent
The Knowledge Management (KM) Analyst is a good critical thinker and problem solver, and very organized in order to help design good training modules and training events. This individual will have excellent interpersonal skills and, as part of the KM team, will work closely with employees and managers to create new training content for Appficiency’s learning management system, Seismic, while also tracking Seismic data that will support business strategy. This individual should be familiar with Google Drives and Google documents. The Knowledge Management Coop Student will possess excellent communication skills in order to communicate on a regular basis with employees and managers across Appficiency’s North American offices.
The Commitment
Work closely with cross-functional teams to support knowledge sharing and data-related initiatives.
Help train staff or teams on new tools or processes related to data management and knowledge sharing.
Provide support to Content Creators with Siesmic (LMS system) in lesson development.
Assist with developing employee training modules by revising or editing content prior to publishing on Lessonly
Edit video content for lesson courses
Support the design of high quality Seismic modules
Assist in identifying opportunities to streamline and optimize knowledge management and data handling processes.
Support in the design and implementation of process workflows related to knowledge sharing, data entry, and data analysis.
Help with the creation of process documentation and user manuals for data management best practices.
Analyze organizational data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that contribute to decision-making.
Assist in preparing data reports and visualizations for stakeholders.
Conduct research and create summaries to support data-driven recommendations and decisions.
Perform basic statistical analysis and help in interpreting data for business strategies.
Plan in-person and/or virtual KM training events
Facilitate webinars
Track metrics in Siesmic on a regular basis
Collect and organize feedback following training sessions
Work closely with and listen to colleagues explain their needs for training and then summarizing and sharing their learning needs with the KM team.

The Essentials
Undergraduate in human resources, psychology, marketing or business
Interest in Training and development
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail and problem solving skills
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and deal with changing priorities
Experience in teaching/training, adult education, lesson development and content creation
Familiarity with ERP, CRM, or e-commerce applications
