Overview  

We are seeking a Knowledge Engineer that will be responsible for structuring enterprise data into semantic and contextual representations that enable Generative AI systems to retrieve, reason, and explain insights accurately. 

We are building next-generation Generative AI products that deliver actionable data insights at enterprise scale. Our platform leverages Large Language Models (LLMs), knowledge graphs, metadata systems, and semantic layers to ensure AI systems are accurate, explainable, and grounded in enterprise data. We focus on creating trusted AI systems that enterprises can rely on for critical decision-making. 

Location:   

Bangalore, India (Hybrid; 3 days onsite/2 days remote)  
 

What You’ll Do:  

Design and maintain knowledge schemas, metadata models, and semantic representations for AI systems 

Develop and manage knowledge graphs and contextual data layers to support AI grounding 

Enable explainability and traceability of AI-generated insights 

Collaborate with AI, data, and product teams to align knowledge models with business use cases 

Continuously improve knowledge quality, relevance, and coverage 

Design and evolve enterprise knowledge models used by AI systems 

Ensure AI outputs are grounded in trusted, well-structured knowledge 

Work closely with LLM and Applied AI engineers to improve retrieval accuracy 

Implement standards for metadata quality, consistency, and lineage 

Identify gaps in knowledge coverage and propose improvements 

What We’re Looking For:  

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field 

6–9 years of experience in knowledge engineering, data modeling, or semantic systems 

Experience working with enterprise data platforms and analytics systems 

Exposure to AI-powered or data-intensive products is a strong plus 

Strong experience in data modeling, metadata management, and semantic design 

Hands-on experience with knowledge graphs, ontologies, or graph databases 

Understanding of how LLMs consume structured and unstructured knowledge 

Proficiency in querying and transforming large datasets 

Familiarity with explainability, lineage, and governance concepts for AI systems 

Technical Skills Required:

Entity relationship modeling 

Index mapping strategy (OpenSearch)
