Searcys have an incredible venue in one of London's most iconic, historical spaces this year and are looking for a Kitchen Porter to join the team.
We are looking for an experienced Kitchen Porter to assist The Pegasus Bar and Restaurant in the day to day running of the Kitchen. As a Searcys Kitchen Porter you will play a crucial role in supporting kitchen by ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of kitchen areas,
The role will be based at The Honourable Society of The Inner Temple situated on the banks of the Thames, is one of the few remaining Georgian style event halls in the City of London. That teamed with its surroundings of a three-acres a stunning garden, it offers a unique backdrop to a wide variety of events

Salary: £30,784.00 Pro Rota, plus service charge
Working Monday - Friday, overtime available
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen area, service areas, including sinks, countertops, and floors.
• Wash and sanitize kitchen utensils, dishes, and equipment.
• Washing of dishes, cutlery etc from the restaurant.
• Maintain cleanliness in storage areas and ensure food safety standards are followed.
• Assist with waste management and recycling.
• To be involved in some food preparation and service.
• Organise and store kitchen supplies, ensuring they are readily available for use.
• Help with unloading deliveries and storing items appropriately.
• Responsible for cleaning schedule and paperwork.
• Previous experience in a kitchen or cleaning role is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
• Ability to work on their own and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
