• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various kitchen and laundry equipment, including ovens, dishwashers, refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, and steamers.
• Conduct regular inspections and diagnose faults in electrical, mechanical, and automated kitchen and laundry equipment.
• Replace or repair faulty parts, such as motors, heating elements, bearings, and belts.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance activities and service reports.
• Ensure all kitchen and laundry equipment operates efficiently and safely, in compliance with company and local safety regulations.
• Implement proactive maintenance strategies to prevent breakdowns and minimize operational disruptions.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for specialized repairs and procurement of spare parts.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and housekeeping teams to schedule maintenance and repairs with minimal impact on operations.
• Assist in training operational staff on proper equipment usage and basic troubleshooting techniques.
• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and implement immediate corrective actions.
• Maintain an inventory of essential spare parts to reduce equipment downtime.
• Participate in after-hours on-call duty as required.

• Diploma or certification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Refrigeration Engineering.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in kitchen and laundry equipment maintenance within the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of commercial kitchen and laundry equipment brands (e.g., Rational, Electrolux, Hobart).
• Solid understanding of electrical wiring and HVAC systems related to kitchen and laundry operations.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations in hotel engineering maintenance.
• Proven track record in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment repair.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and vendors.
• Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts and respond to emergency calls as needed.
