Kitchen Assistant - MOXY Edinburgh Airport

Gross Hourly Rate - £12,64 per hour

We have a fantastic position for a Kitchen Assistant at MOXY Edinburgh Airport hotell, the role is on a full time (40 hours) contract. 

Responsibilities

In this role you will assist with tasks related to meal preparation, cooking, and preparing dishes in the Moxy way, helping with deliveries, restocking, cleaning and maintaining kitchen and food safety standards.

You will be responsible for: 

Preparing and cooking guest food orders the Moxy way.

Basic food preparation including breakfast preparation for the following day.

Cleaning and sterilising countertops, kitchen walls, ovens, and sinks.

Cleaning the entire kitchen once it is closed to ensure it is ready for the next day.

Maintaining the food storage areas like freezers and refrigerators.

Receiving deliveries and organising them in the kitchen.

Washing dirty dishes like cutlery, pots, cutting boards and pans or loading dishes into the dishwasher.

Removing kitchen waste from waste containers and disposing of them properly.

Cleaning and maintaining cooking equipment.

Providing assistance to the team as needed
