📍 Location: Patcham Nursing Home, Brighton
💰 Salary: £12.60 per hour (annual review)
⭐ Weekend Rate: £13.10 per hour
🕒 Hours: 31.5 hours per week (Monday – Sunday) 9am - 6pm, week one - Mon, Sat and Sun - 27 hrs, week 2 - Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri - 36 hrs

About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team as a Kitchen Assistant at Patcham Nursing Home. While previous experience in a similar setting is an advantage, it is not essential. What matters most is your passion for preparing delicious, wholesome, nutritious meals and your commitment to maintaining and continually improving our high standards.
As a valued member of our team, you will play an important role in supporting the wellbeing of our residents by preparing meals with care, as well as providing for our colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with basic food preparation and meal service
Support residents’ dietary requirements, including modified and specialist diets
Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene
Wash dishes and clean kitchen equipment
Help receive and store deliveries
Follow food safety, health & safety, and infection control procedures
Work positively as part of a friendly and caring team
