• We are recruiting a Full Time Kitchen Assistant to join the BaxterStorey team at the prestigious NatWest offices in More London (Liverpool Street).

As a General Assistant you will…

• Assist in the preparation of breakfast, lunch, snacks according to established menus and recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness of the back of house areas including organising dishes and utensils.
• Following proper food handling and storage procedures to ensure food safety and prevent contamination.
• Monitor inventory levels of food and supplies and notify management of any shortages or discrepancies.
• Provide friendly and efficient service to students and staff during mealtimes, addressing any concerns or special dietary needs.
• Participate in training sessions and meeting related to food service procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
• This is a Monday to Friday operation with shifts ranging from 6.30am to 5.30pm.

We Offer:

Rate: £13.85 per hour

Shifts: Mon–Fri / No weekends

Contract: Full Time / Permanent

About the role:

• Making sandwiches, yoghurt pots and helping with other kitchen related duties as necessary, including the preparation of grab and items
• Receive, check, and store daily food and supply deliveries, ensuring quality, accurate quantities, and safe organisation of all stock (including dry store, fridges, and freezers) in line with FIFO and food safety standards
• Ensure effective stock rotation of products
• Communicate with the kitchen on stock levels
• Washing up
• Ensuring that food safety standards and correct cleaning procedures are followed at all times
