Kitchen Assistant – Food Service

New Day Recovery is a premier treatment center in Niles, Ohio, dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to individuals on their journey to recovery. Our kitchen and support staff play a vital role in that journey—including through the comforting, home-like experience of a well-prepared meal.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Assist in food inventory and control to assure health and safety standards associated with food preparation and serving
Assist with the preparation of meals and snacks in accordance with recipes
Serve meals and prepare snacks as required
Ensure cleanliness of kitchen, dining, beverage, food service areas, and dining areas
Maintain kitchen, dietary, and service areas in an uncluttered, safe manner
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
18 years of age.
High School diploma/GED equivalent
Previous work experience in food service preferable
Physical abilities to perform repetitive motions such as bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, climbing, and lifting of objects up to 25 lbs.
