WHAT IS ON OFFER
Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a Key Account Manager to join our team in Johor, supporting key client accounts across our global inspection and testing operations by providing clients with prompt, accurate, and insightful operational updates.
You will lead, manage, motivate and develop a productive, high performing, customer focused team that consistently delivers its objectives through positive ways of working. The end-to-end process involves the quotation of services, acknowledgement of appointment, facilitating internal communication with AHK’s overseas entities, information and incident updating and final reporting of job details.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?
To be successful at Alfred H Knight you will need to display the following:
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Essential
Excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate both verbally and in writing and liaise professionally at all levels within the company, both UK and overseas.
Proven experience in key account management or client relationship management within a technical or service-led environment.
Experience working within quality management systems and compliance frameworks (e.g. ISO standards).
An advanced understanding of the WSMD and job management process through practical job management.
An advanced understanding of OSCAR and associated systems.
Demonstrate effective client account management both within your team and the overall company, provide support to senior. management where necessary.
Demonstrate effective and efficient problem prevention and resolution skills.
Strong understanding of operational job management processes and service delivery workflows.
Required Competencies
Strong key account management skills with the ability to build, maintain and grow long-term client relationships.
Good commercial awareness, with the ability to understand risk, spot opportunities and balance client needs with business requirements.
Confident working with a range of stakeholders, including senior clients and internal teams, and able to influence outcomes where needed.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced operational environment.
Clear and effective communicator, able to build trust and maintain strong working relationships at all levels.
Focus on delivering high-quality service and ensuring a “right first time” approach across all work.
Ability to support and guide others, helping to improve performance and ways of working across the team.
Comfortable working with data and information to support decision-making and improve service delivery.
Required Work Experience
Experience managing key client accounts in an inspection, testing, logistics, or technical services environment.
Experience managing client communications including job updates, reporting, and invoicing.
Experience working in cross-functional or multi-site organisations.
Required Qualifications
Relevant qualification in business, logistics, science, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
Training in account management or customer service desirable.
Required Languages
English & Bahasa (in business proficiency level for written and verbal communication).
Additional languages desirable but not essential.

Travel
Occasional travel may be required to support client meetings, operational delivery, or cross-site collaboration.
