The Key Account Director (KAD) oversees strategic client partnerships within the U.S. market. This position holds direct responsibility for revenue, cultivates executive-level relationships, and fosters account expansion through trusted collaboration, business acumen, and effective teamwork with delivery teams.
Requirements:
Primary Responsibilities
● Serve as the senior point of contact to manage and expand relationships with designated key clients.
● Formulate and implement account strategies aimed at meeting an annual revenue goal of USD 3–5 million across the client portfolio.
● Identify and capitalize on opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling aligned with client requirements.
● Collaborate closely with Delivery Directors, project managers, and technical teams to ensure client satisfaction and strategic alignment.
● Act as the primary escalation contact for issues, resolving them efficiently and effectively.
● Lead Executive Business Reviews (EBRs) and conduct regular client check-ins.
● Monitor market trends and deliver valuable insights to clients and InApp leadership.
● Negotiate contract renewals, agreements, and commercial terms.
● Provide senior management with reports on account performance, pipeline status, and forecasts.
● Work alongside sales and marketing teams to strengthen and expand the company's presence within client organizations.
Essential Qualifications
● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. An MBA is preferable but not mandatory.
● Over 12 years of experience in IT services or consulting, including a minimum of 5 years in enterprise account management or strategic sales.
● Proven track record of achieving or surpassing multi-million-dollar revenue objectives.
● Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and establish relationships at an executive level.
● Experience managing major accounts within sectors such as manufacturing, construction, financial services, or technology.
● Familiarity with IT service offerings, including custom software development, cloud services, digital transformation, and AI/data solutions.
● Strong analytical and strategic capabilities, able to manage detailed tasks while maintaining focus on overall business goals.
● Comfortable working within cross-cultural teams in a global environment.
● Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, approximately 20–30% of the time.
