ROLE FUNCTIONS
· The Assistant Housekeeping Manager supports both the short-term and long-term planning, as well as the daily operations of the Housekeeping department, ensuring the property and its assets are consistently clean, well-maintained, and aligned with brand standards.
· Assist in managing daily Housekeeping operations to maintain exceptional cleanliness and upkeep in guest rooms and all public areas, coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth operations and compliance. Partner with the Engineering team to help maintain the excellent condition of resort facilities, pools, and gardens.
· Work closely with Front Office Operations to support timely room readiness for arriving guests and contribute to overall guest satisfaction related to cleanliness, maintenance, and fulfillment of housekeeping requests for individuals, groups, or events.
· Support coordination between the Housekeeping department and other teams to enhance communication and elevate the overall guest experience.
· Assist in controlling operating expenses by monitoring supply usage, supporting inventory management, and helping minimize waste of guest amenities, cleaning materials, and linens while maintaining service quality.
· Support the recruitment, training, and development of team members to foster engagement, productivity, and high service standards. Participate in performance management processes and staff evaluations.
· Conduct routine inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure adherence to cleanliness and maintenance standards, reporting any issues to the Housekeeping Manager.
· Ensure team members have the necessary tools, equipment, and guidance to perform their duties effectively.
· Support the handling of guest feedback and complaints, ensuring timely resolution and contributing to overall guest satisfaction.
Requirements:
• Relevant experience in luxury hospitality
• Degree in Hospitality or similar
• English language
