Position: Full Time/Permanent

Location: dmg media Headquarters, Derry Street, HSK, London, W8 5HY

About the Role

We’re looking for a competent junior videographer editor to create videos for all DMG social pages -

creating daily, platform-native video content that builds awareness, community, and cultural

relevance, whilst delivering to client briefs.

You’ll work closely with producers, content creators and the wider DMG New Media team to create

short-form video for TikTok, Instagram and emerging platforms.

This is an ideal role for someone who:

• Is eager to learn from seasoned industry colleagues and the business

• Is an avid user of social media

Main Responsibilities

• Edit all videos DMG social pages

• Filming social media videos for editorial shoots

• Edit and shoot short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram and other platforms

• Bring energy, substance and authenticity to DMG storytelling

• Help turn brand ideas into relatable, human content

• Assisting the senior videographers & editors with projects

Storytelling & Format Development

• Work with producers, creatives, and senior videographers to understand social better

• Work on video techniques to innovate storytelling

• Contribute ideas based on trends, culture and audience behaviour

• Help test and refine hooks, narratives and storytelling styles

Production Collaboration

• Work closely with producers to organise shoot days

• Be comfortable with both quick-turnaround edits and more produced shoots

• Support the wider DMG team when needed

• Keep on top of kit and ensure all kit is ready to be used and working correctly

Person Specification

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has good editing skills with a showreel to match

• Confident with the production kit such as Sony FX3, FX6 etc.

• Understand basic lighting theories for a scene

• Able to organise sound capture within a scene

• Confident with Adobe Premiere Pro

• Familiar with TikTok and Instagram storytelling

• Curious, creative and culturally plugged in

• Excited by new video features and platform updates

You might already be:

• An avid videographer who loves to edit their own videos

• An editor comfortable with the whole Adobe Suite

• Have video production experience for start-up companies
