YOUR ROLE:
AS A JUNIOR UX RESEARCHER (M/F/D) AT KXL
You support research teams in understanding user needs, behaviors, and expectations through qualitative and quantitative methods. You help translate insights into design impact while growing foundational skills in research tools, processes, and cross-functional collaboration within a hybrid and agile environment.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
• Supporting research activities across qualitative and quantitative methods
• Assisting in the planning and execution of usability tests, interviews, and surveys
• Contributing to documentation such as personas, journey maps, and user insights
• Help developing research materials such as screeners, guides, and questionnaires
• Participating in the analysis and synthesis of research findings
• Supporting coordination, scheduling, and fieldwork quality assurance
• Contributing to project meetings and share observations within the research team
• Actively building knowledge of methods, tools, and ethical research practices
• Collaborating with team members from other disciplines to understand their impact on the user experience
• Passion for improving digital experiences through user-centered insights
YOUR PROFILE:
YOUR EXPERIENCE IS WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
• A Bachelor's or Master´s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field
• Previous work experience in the UX discipline is desirable
• Basic understanding of UX research methods and tools
• Ability to support research activities and to deliver foundational insights
• Good analytical thinking and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
• Eagerness to learn and take ownership of assigned tasks
• Awareness of Agile development practices
• Confidence in contributing to user advocacy and research value discussions
• Ability to structure work within short timelines and defined scopes
• Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for continuous learning
• Both oral and written fluent German and English language skills (minimum B2/C1)
• Permanent residence in Germany is mandatory (Employment from abroad is not possible.)
