We are seeking a Junior UX Analyst to support the delivery of user-centred digital products and services within collaborative project teams. This role will contribute to user research, analysis, and design activities, helping translate insights into practical and accessible digital experiences. This role is a 6-month contract based onsite in Darwin.
Requirements:
What You’ll Do
• Support user research activities including interviews, workshops, surveys, and usability testing
• Analyse research findings to identify user needs, pain points, and opportunities for improvement
• Create and maintain UX artefacts such as personas, journey maps, research summaries, and supporting documentation
• Assist in the development and refinement of wireframes, prototypes, and design concepts
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including analysts, developers, testers, and stakeholders
• Support usability and accessibility testing activities and contribute to recommendations and improvements
• Maintain accurate, well-structured documentation and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders
What You’ll Bring
• Experience working on digital projects or services with exposure to UX research and design practices
• Understanding of information architecture, content design, and user-centred design principles
• Ability to analyse and synthesise research findings into clear, actionable insights
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and manage competing priorities effectively
• Attention to detail with strong organisational and documentation skills
• Familiarity with accessibility, usability, and inclusive design principles
• Exposure to prototyping and collaboration tools such as Figma, Jira, Confluence, or SharePoint is highly regarded
