THE ROLE

As a Junior Treasury Analyst, you will join the Group Treasury team, which currently consists of 7 members across London and Porto. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining our banking infrastructure. You will also ensure the Treasury Management System and associated database information remain accurate and up to date.
Collaboration is key in this role, you will work closely with all team members and provide support to other Treasury Analysts based in Porto. You will report directly to the Treasury Operations Senior Manager in Porto.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• Support maintenance and optimization of banking systems & facilities.

• Assist in managing Group bank accounts & facilities, including account opening/closing, ad-hoc documentation and updating KYC information.

• Update the bank mandates ensuring compliance with the Group policies and keep the bank account database up to date.

• Monitor outstanding bank guarantees.

• Update the Treasury Management System and database information.

• Support Treasury SOX controls and provide answers to internal and external audit requests.

• Provide support with various ad-hoc requirements including, general administration, operational activities, data analysis, and project work as required.

• Provide cover for other members of the Treasury team as required.

WHO YOU ARE :
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written.

• Financial, Accounting or Business degree preferred.

• Highly numerate with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Self-starter with good organisational and time management skills.

• Driven and motivated individual, able to work within a fast-paced technology environment.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Team player.

• Knowledgeable Microsoft package user, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

• Previous Treasury or banking experience preferential but not essential – internal training will be provided for all aspects of the roles as required.
