Job Description
About Us:
STARK is a new kind of defence technology company revolutionising the way autonomous systems are deployed across multiple domains. We design, develop, and manufacture high-performance unmanned systems that are software-defined, mass-scalable, and cost-effective — providing operators with a decisive edge in contested environments.
We are focused on delivering deployable, high-performance systems — not future promises. In a time of rising threats, STARK is bolstering the technological edge of NATO Allies and their Partners to deter aggression and defend Europe, today.
Your mission:
As a Junior Technical Project Manager, you will be the operational engine of our engineering department. You will bridge the gap between "deep tech" development and the rigorous regulatory requirements of the German defense sector. You will transform technical chaos into structured, certified reality, ensuring our systems meet the highest safety and compliance standards.
Responsibilities:
• Regulatory & Certification Management: Prepare and manage complex technical documentation and certification & ensure formal compliance with defense-specific regulations.
• Milestone Coordination: Track project timelines, identify potential roadblocks in the production or development cycle, and facilitate weekly alignment meetings to assign ownership.
• Cross-Functional Interface: Act as the primary coordinator between internal engineering specialists (mechanical/electrical), testing departments, and external partners.
• Process Optimization: Establish organizational frameworks and production line standards. You will translate strategic engineering goals into actionable tasks for the team.
• Technical Documentation: Oversee the full lifecycle of technical data, from initial drawings and design reviews to final safety approvals and entry-into-service documentation.
Qualifications:
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace, or similar).
• PM Foundation: 1–4 years of experience in a technical project environment (e.g., Automotive, Aerospace, Rail, or Industrial Production).
• Regulatory Mindset: A "safety-first" approach. Experience navigating strict compliance environments where quality and documentation are non-negotiable.
• Startup Agility: Comfortable in fast-paced, high-pressure, and growth environments. You are someone who thrives on building structure where none exists.
• Technical Curiosity: A deep fascination with high-end technology.
• Fluency in German is mandatory.
• 100% onsite presence
Nice to have:
• Experience with Jira for task management and documentation tracking.
• Familiarity with PCB production, high-voltage systems, or mechanical integration.
• Previous experience working with international partners or large-scale German OEMs
