🔎 About the Role

We’re expanding our analytical muscle and looking for a Junior Technical Business Analyst who understands data, experimentation, and measuring what works.

In this 6‑month contract, you’ll work closely with our Opportunity Development team on special projects that improve how we match applicants to self‑employment opportunities.

You’ll succeed in this role if you love diving into data, solving problems, and helping translate insights into solutions that make a difference.

🛠️ What You’ll Do

Partner with stakeholders to clarify business needs and problem statements.

Facilitate cross-team problem solving to refine solution designs.

Perform deep-dive analysis and write SQL queries to extract insights from multiple data sources.

Turn analysis into development-ready specifications (user stories, process flows, functional requirements).

Build strong understanding of our product and business to identify risks, dependencies, and assumptions.

Support teams in adopting and understanding developed solutions.

Help maintain and manage the project workstream.

🎓 Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Statistics, or Computer Science.

2+ years experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Data Analyst.

Advanced SQL skills (including joins, window functions, and CTEs).

Strong Excel capability.

Proven ability to perform independent data analysis and root-cause investigations.

Experience working with Agile/SCRUM/Kanban methodologies.

BigQuery experience is an advantage.

Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
