This is an ideal opportunity for a newly qualified CIMA or SAIPA professional who is excited about systems, technology, and process improvement and wants to build a career beyond traditional accounting.

As a Junior Systems Specialist, you’ll support the implementation and optimisation of cloud-based inventory and accounting systems for our clients. You’ll work alongside experienced systems and accounting professionals, gaining hands-on exposure to real-world implementations while developing strong technical and client-facing skills.

This role is perfect for someone who is curious, analytical, detail-oriented, and motivated to grow into a specialist role in cloud systems and automation.

What you’ll be doing

With training and support, you will:

Client Requirements Support – Assist in gathering and documenting client needs, processes, and system requirements.

Solution Support – Help identify suitable systems and apps to meet client requirements, under guidance from senior team members.

System Configuration Assistance – Support the configuration of cloud software, including data preparation, basic data migration, and system setup.

Client Onboarding Support – Assist with onboarding clients onto new systems to ensure smooth transitions.

Project Support – Help maintain project plans, timelines, and task tracking for system implementation projects.

Training & Documentation – Assist in preparing training materials, SOPs, and client documentation, and sit in on training sessions.

Client Communication – Support client communication during implementations and act professionally in client-facing interactions.

Continuous Improvement – Contribute ideas to improve internal processes, documentation, and system workflows as you learn.

What you bring

Recently qualified or near-qualified CIMA or SAIPA professional.

Degree or Honours in Accounting, Management Accounting, or a related field.

Exposure to or a strong interest in accounting systems, ERP, inventory, or automation.

Basic experience or familiarity with cloud-based systems such as Xero, Dext/Hubdoc, SimplePay, Cin7 Core, Lightspeed POS, or similar (advantageous but not required).

Strong Excel skills, including data cleaning, analysis, and basic process mapping.

A logical, problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail.

Willingness to learn new systems quickly and take initiative.

Comfortable working with technology and adapting to new software.

Professional communication skills and a positive, client-focused attitude.
