Role Overview
We are seeking a Junior Systems Integration Specialist to support the development and improvement of systems used within a digital learning environment. The role focuses on building integrations, workflow automations, and improving how multiple platforms connect and operate together.
Working closely with a Learning Technology team, the successful candidate will help reduce manual operational processes, strengthen system connectivity, and support reliable data flow across a growing technology ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
• Build and maintain integrations and workflow automations across platforms used in programme delivery and operational processes.
• Support the connection of tools within a learning technology ecosystem, ensuring systems exchange information reliably and efficiently.
• Develop automation workflows that reduce manual administrative tasks across delivery, operations, and support teams.
• Collaborate with technology stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve system connectivity, operational efficiency, and data consistency.
• Assist with the design, implementation, and maintenance of API-based integrations.
• Investigate and troubleshoot technical issues affecting cross-platform integrations or automated workflows.
• Monitor integration performance and support improvements to system reliability and stability.
• Maintain clear technical documentation describing integrations, automation logic, and system workflows.
• Support ongoing optimisation of systems as new platforms, tools, or operational requirements emerge.
Requirements:
• Demonstrated experience working with system integrations, APIs, or workflow automation tools.
• Experience connecting or maintaining integrations across multiple SaaS platforms.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues across interconnected systems and services.
• Strong working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Practical experience working with APIs, API documentation, or integration frameworks.
• Experience building or maintaining scripts, automations, or system workflows.
• Familiarity with integration patterns such as API requests, webhooks, or scheduled automation tasks.
• Ability to analyse operational processes and identify opportunities for automation or efficiency improvements.
• Strong written documentation skills for describing technical integrations or system processes.
