We are seeking a Junior System Integration Engineer for our Kinneret office to help deliver innovative capabilities to our customers and enhance the performance of our next-generation Open-RAN base-station products for LTE and 5G NR networks.

What you'll do::
• Take ownership of features from early Proof-of-Concept phases through software implementation and customer release.
• Participate in reviewing the design of new cellular radio features (e.g., rate adaptation, power control, scheduling, interference mitigation), challenge existing implementations, and propose improvements.
• Define test strategies to assess end-to-end performance and verify conformance with design requirements and relevant technology specifications (Open RAN, 3GPP).
• Contribute to system-level performance optimization.
• Produce technical reports and performance analyses based on lab investigations, support Product and Customer teams, and provide guidance to Automation teams.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve cellular system issues reported from internal labs or observed in customer deployments.

What you should have::
• Fast learning ability and strong grasp of communication systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to dive into mechanisms, analyze logs, and understand issues in depth.
• Knowledge of wireless communication theory and dynamic link challenges.
• Understanding of communication protocols (TCP/UDP, routing, etc.).
• Excellent communication abilities and comfort working in a global, multi-site environment.
• Basic Python scripting skills.
• Fluent English.

Nice to have::
• Familiarity with LTE/LTE-Advanced/5G-NR standards.
• Hands-on experience with Networking, Kubernetes, Cloud Computing, or Linux.

Education::
• B.Sc. in communication theory and systems and/or signal processing.
