Position Overview
AHOY is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior SQA Engineer to join our quality assurance team. As a Junior SQA Engineer, you will work under the guidance of senior QA professionals to support the testing efforts for our software applications. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in software testing and to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:
• Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and execution of test plans and test cases for various software applications.
• Conduct manual testing of applications to identify defects and ensure functionality meets specifications.
• Document test results and track issues using bug tracking tools.
• Participate in team meetings and provide updates on testing progress and results.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and provide feedback on quality issues.
• Learn and apply testing methodologies and improve skills through mentorship and training.

• Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Some experience or internships in software testing or quality assurance are preferred.
• Basic understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and testing practices.
