YOUR TASKS:
• Creation and enforcement of project schedules;
• Internal communication regarding the implementation of projects;
• Facilitate internal project planning by converting verbal discussions and written briefs into structured, actionable tickets and technical specifications;
• Management of customer requirements, resources and milestones;
• Planning and monitoring of deadlines, quality and content;
• Preparation of technical documentation and presentation of project results;
• Support in preparing quotations and close cooperation with stakeholders;
• Manage the end-to-end ticketing process: translating internal stakeholder needs into actionable tasks, identifying cross-task dependencies, and performing regular backlog grooming to eliminate duplicate entries;
• Facilitate seamless project flow by coordinating tasks between team members and stakeholders while ensuring all project documentation remains accurate and up to date;
• Coordinate with team members to track progress and consistently meet internal and external deadlines;
• Assist in sprint planning and task estimation to help maintain a consistent team velocity.
YOUR PROFILE:
• A degree in: Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Natural Sciences, Engineering, or a comparable subject;
• Open to entry-level candidates joining straight from university who possess strong technical fundamentals and a drive to quickly learn complex product ecosystems;
• Technical Rigor: Ability to quickly absorb complex domain knowledge; you’ll be tasked with learning the granular details of steel scheduling logic to support our core product development;
• Subject Matter Expertise: Must posses the drive to learn the "nuts and bolts" of steel manufacturing workflows and gain a high level of proficiency in our software;
• Foundational knowledge of software development principles, including familiarity with APIs, database management, and the distinction between frontend and backend architectures;
• Basic experience with project management or ticketing tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, or Asana) to track tasks and collaborate within a team environment;
• Foundational understanding of Agile software development processes and a desire to work in a fast-paced, iterative environment;
• Ability to convey ideas clearly and collaborate cross-functionally within a team environment;
• A proactive problem-solver who stays focused on delivering high-quality results under pressure;
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and handle multiple workstreams simultaneously without losing focus;
• Strong organizational skills with a knack for creating clear, data-driven reports to keep stakeholders informed;
• Proficiency in using MS Office applications, particularly PowerPoint and Excel;
• Proficiency in English is required, German language skills are considered a definite plus.
