Position Overview

ATLAS SP is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to help us build proprietary applications and data repositories to support our residential, CRE, and commercial asset finance business. The Junior Software Engineer will be a member of our experienced development team and collaborate with business stakeholders in asset finance to streamline portfolio management, collateral management, and operational efficiency.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and deploy enterprise software to support portfolio management for residential mortgages, commercial real estate, and consumer/commercial loans

• Provide support for vendor and proprietary systems that have been built around our lending data management, portfolio management reporting, and servicing processes

Required Qualification and Experience

• 3+ years of experience in technical roles within financial services

• Relevant technical university degree

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Professional experience in object-oriented programing and relational databases

• Understanding of REST APIs and software design principles

• Ability to work well independently as well as collaboratively

• Results oriented and commercial

Preferred Qualification and Experience

• Experience with fixed income, mortgages, commercial real estate or commercial loans

• Experience with loan finance and credit markets

• Work experience with digital transformation initiatives

The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed here.
