Job Description

An SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) Developer is a specialist responsible for building, integrating, and extending business applications within SAP’s unified cloud environment. As of 2026, this role is critical for organizations implementing "Clean Core" strategies, which involve moving custom code away from the central ERP (S/4HANA) and into the cloud to ensure easier upgrades.

Core Responsibilities

Application Development: Building cloud-native applications using pro-code frameworks like CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model) or RAP (ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model).

Integration: Connecting SAP systems with third-party applications and data sources using the SAP Integration Suite.

Extensibility: Creating "side-by-side" extensions for SAP S/4HANA to add custom functionality without modifying the core system.
