Junior Security Specialist – IAM

Job Description & Summary

In identity and access management at PwC, you will focus on confirming secure and efficient access to systems and data for employees and/or clients. Your work will involve the design and implementation of strategies to protect sensitive information and manage user identities.

We are looking for experienced consultants who are passionate about digital identity to help our clients do business in a digital world while protecting privacy and data. In Bulgaria we have a dedicated Identity & Access Management (IAM) team, and we work on creating a more secure society for major international and local organizations. 

The Role: 

As part of the cybersecurity team, you will assist clients in understanding their cyber risks and defining strategies to enhance their security posture. Your responsibilities will include: 

• Participating in assessing the state of security and identity management in companies across various sectors. 

• Identifying opportunities for improvement and preparing materials for design implementation to help clients operate their environments more safely and efficiently. 

• Engaging in diverse projects beyond primary responsibilities, focusing on IAM and PAM. 

Education Requirements: 

• Achieved certification in the field of cybersecurity is considered an advantage, although formal educational qualifications are not explicitly mandatory. 

Experience Requirements: 

We do not expect from you to be able to do all this but to have interest and desire to develop in the following areas: 

• Administration of Windows, Linux, MS Active Directory or Entra ID. 

• Authentication, authorization, and cryptography. 

• Network fundamentals, including basic components and operational principles. 

• Security mechanisms in processes such as IAM and PAM. 

• Experience with IAM and PAM technology solutions (e.g., CyberArk, SailPoint, Saviynt). 

• Scripting basics (e.g., PowerShell, Python). 

• Understanding REST API & JSON. 

Additionally, active knowledge and experience in any of the fields mentioned above and experience with the security of Cloud services and OT technologies are considered advantageous.
