Junior Security Operations Analyst

The Junior Security Operations Analyst will play a critical role in maintaining the security of our systems and network infrastructure. This includes monitoring security alerts, analyzing incidents, investigating security breaches, and conducting vulnerability assessments. The ideal candidate has a passion for cybersecurity, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to learn and grow in their career.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor security alerts and investigate potential security breaches.
• Analyze security incidents and determine appropriate response actions.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and provide recommendations for remediation.
• Assist with the implementation and maintenance of security tools and technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.
• Maintain documentation and reports related to security incidents and investigations.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices.

Requirements:
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in IT or cybersecurity.

• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, protocols, and technologies.
• Familiarity with security tools and technologies, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and antivirus solutions.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Relevant certifications such as Security+, Network+, or CISSP are a plus.
