THE OPPORTUNITY
The Client is looking to support its rapid growth by building a best-in-class primary research function. As a Junior Research Associate, you will accelerate the Client’s access to elite subject matter experts across the globe.
Developing original, cutting-edge insights is mission-critical. As a Junior Research Associate, you will be the “tip of the spear” in developing a robust pipeline of subject matter experts who can drive fresh industry insights to power research initiatives.
You will be responsible for acquiring industry experts and owning the full search process — including identifying in-demand knowledge leaders, conducting outreach, building connections with targeted experts, pitching the value proposition, and adding to an existing bench of specialized experts.

Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Searching for and identifying leading global subject matter experts to drive original research
• Conducting outreach and recruiting industry experts to build an ongoing pipeline of fresh market insights across multiple practice areas
• Performing telephone screening and vetting of subject matter experts for participation in current client-facing research engagements
• Collaborating with internal engagement teams to scope expert insight requirements
• Over time, building, managing, and owning relationships with hundreds of subject matter experts onboarded into the network

Additional qualifications include:
• Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) required, with a strong track record of academic excellence
• Fluency in English (written and verbal); strong business acumen is a plus
• Strong work ethic and accountability required to exceed performance metrics
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to independently manage expert pipeline processes across multiple engagements and timelines
• Ability to approach tasks with urgency and intensity in a fast-paced environment
• Professional communication skills for recruiting and negotiating with senior-level industry experts
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt across a wide variety of industries
• Strong people instincts to evaluate expertise and willingness to participate
• Capacity to manage high-volume outbound cold calls, email, and LinkedIn outreach
• Team-first mindset, prioritizing team success over individual success
• Proficiency in navigating LinkedIn
