Junior Regional Risk Analyst

We are recruiting a Junior Regional Risk Analyst to support Regional Risk Analyst and actively assist in credit risk assessment, credit analysis, and credit decision-making across Europe.

This role will play a key part in assessing the financial position of prospective and existing customers, preparing clear and accurate business cases, and supporting credit decisions that balance risk and reward. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, ensuring documentation is accurate, insights are well-articulated, and risks are clearly understood.

The role requires fluency in English and German and offers significant development and progression opportunities within a fast-paced, global organisation.

• Analyse and collate data from multiple internal and external sources to complete credit risk reviews
• Communicate risk recommendations to senior stakeholders to influence and shape risk/ reward decisions
• Review financial information: P&L, Balance sheet, and cashflow statements, and compile trend analysis, produce risk reviews for senior management and external insurance companies. 
• Accurate and timely record keeping
• Workload planning and prioritisation
• Manage accounts through to conclusion, working to agreed deadlines and obtaining buy in for actions from key stakeholders
• Fraud prevention using spend trends to identify risks
• Timely query resolution, working with colleagues in other departments, such as sales, Account Management, Fraud and to resolve issues
• Manage the relationship with sales account management to ensure open communication and agreed level of risk/ reward
• Underwrite credit limits
• Presenting credit recommendations to key stakeholders
• Credit Review management, ensuring effective decisions are made to minimize risk
• Actively engage in relevant and appropriate opportunities for cross-department working to build relationships & share knowledge
• Participate in meetings and projects with wider credit team to continually improve department performance
• Developing and maintaining excellent relationships with key stakeholders within the Radius Group
• Use exposure to different areas of Credit and businesses / products to share good ideas and approaches across the team and improve the processes and systems as a result

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial information
• Working knowledge of financial statements and credit risk principles
• Strong Excel skills (data analysis, trend identification, reporting), and PowerPoint
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent presentation skills
• Ability to prioritise workload and adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Clear and confident communicator, able to engage with stakeholders at all levels

Fluent in English and German, other European language is a plus
